If you use the default value of ~/.rust-repl, the program creates a folder named ~ in your current directory and creates the .rust-repl folder inside of that, rather than /home/user/.rust-repl. This is obviously quite dangerous as if a user attempts to remove the folder they may accidentally remove their home directory if they are not careful.
